Silica gel orange is methyl-violet because of it has an orange color. Orange silica gel is use for moisture absorption process on industrial level. It is no side effects in environment and safe for health because of its organic nature and also it is non-toxic. When it becomes moisture free, the orange beads color is turns to dark green to black. Like blue silica gel orange silica gel is also an indicating.

Silica gel orange beads can absorb 40 percent moisture of its weight in water vapor. Orange beads are available in 2-5mm, 3-5mm, 4-8mm size. Silica gel orange desiccant is widely use in breather transformer application in powder transformer manufacturing industry.

Generally, power industries breather are used for controlling moisture. Moisture is creating for cooling and heating of machines, and prevent from this moisture in breather silica gel orange is used to absorb that moisture amount.

Orange silica gel is a moisture absorbing content. Basically, orange silica gel is used where products need to be protected from humidity and moisture. There are many application need to use absorbents like breather transformers process, leather products packaging, paper and cardboard packaging, computer and electronic parts packaging, pharmaceuticals diagnostic kits packaging and many more.

Characteristics
The European Union decided in 1998 that cobalt chloride is a carcinogen and blue silica gel containing cobalt chloride was thus prohibited and disappeared from European and American markets. To meet the needs of the market, our Company developed color-variable silica gel. In the form of spherical or irregularly-shaped grains, the color change is from Orange to Green. With silicon dioxide as the chief ingredient, the product performs all the functions of blue silica gel but does not contain cobalt chloride and is therefore innocuous and pollution-free, and its color varies as humidity changes.

Use
Mainly for drying and indicating humidity of precision instruments, medicine, petrol chemicals, foodstuff, clothing, leather, electric appliances, other industrial gases, etc. Put proper amounts in a suitable container or package and set the container or package where drying or humidity indication is needed. This gel can be used independently or in combination with other types of silica gel.
